In its quest for excellence and expansion, INTI opened its first international campus, Beijing INTI Management College (BIMC)in China, in 1993. In May 2001, INTI has established INTI College Indonesia in Jakarta. Thanks to this extensive network of colleges, INTI staff and students are able to share valuable information and practices, both in and out of Malaysia.
INTI College Malaysia(ICM), the main campus, was established on 82 acres of land in Putra Nilai in 1998. In March 2000, INTI acquired International College Penang which is strategically located in the Bukit Jambul educational township. In 2004, INTI continued to expand with three new associate campuses on board namely Genting INTI International College, Metropolitan College and PJ College of Art & Design. To date, INTI has eight associate campuses in Malaysia.
INTI College promotes a conducive learning environment, using modern learning methods and integrating the latest advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Having invested substantially in ICT these past few years, INTI is aggressively developing forward-looking, internationalized e-campuses. With an emphasis on holistic education—whereby the student develops important skills while learning to think critically - INTI envisions fully operational e-campuses by 2010.
Whether studying locally or abroad, INTI’s students continue to excel, as the Group continues to grow. Today, INTI Alumni boasts a membership of over 18,000 members and the current student population comprises international students from about fifty countries. This is a testimony to INTI’s vision and its desire to welcome the demands and challenges of globalisation.
